Information as printed
The carefully crafted printing plates are fitted with utmost precision into the state-of-the-art printing press, which undoubtedly serves as the heart of our advanced printing technology.
Every single step of this demanding process is closely monitored and meticulously checked by the trained eyes and hands of our highly experienced printing technicians. This is done to ensure that the highest standards of accuracy and print quality are consistently met and guaranteed.
We formulate and mix your color scheme in our in-house color lab. At Schwarzach Packaging, we use only mineral oil-free inks. We consider the specific printing material and area of application – for example, low-migration inks for food packaging.
For optimal presentation of your products, we place great emphasis on the highest color accuracy. With a wide range of color effects as well as special and metallic colors, we put your product in the right light.
This process is also known as indirect printing, as the ink is not transferred directly onto the sheet. The ink is transferred from aluminum plates to a rubber blanket cylinder and then printed onto the sheet.
The printing itself is already largely automated. The biggest effort lies in the preparation, as the printing plates need to be exposed and mounted.
Whether glossy, matte, partial, or full coverage – varnishes create truly special effects: tactile, visual, and protective!
We offer a wide variety of varnish finishing options, from UV varnishes and varnishes with iridescent pigments to scented varnishes, covering every area.
In cold foil finishing, parts of the foil are applied to print substrates to create finishing effects. Unlike hot foil stamping, there are no cliché or tool costs, high temperatures, and complicated offline processes involved.
The foil is applied directly in the printing machine and can also be overprinted in color, allowing for a wide variety of effects. However, this method does not achieve the brilliance and elegance of hot foil stamping.
The Process Standard Offset Printing is the industrial and standardized production of printed materials.
Our certification ISO 12647 – Process Standard Offset Printing "Premium-PSO" – reduced tolerances – covers data handling & color management, digital proof creation, plate production, and setup of printing orders & continuation printing in the sheet-fed offset process.
