For log file storage, this occurs after a maximum of four weeks. Extended storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or altered to prevent identification of the accessing client.
5. Right to Object and Eliminate
Data collection for website provision and log file storage is essential for operating the website. Users, therefore, have no right to object.

We use the “Facebook Pixel,” a service of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, parent company: Facebook, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. The data collected through the integration of cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies from third parties allows us to measure and design our advertising activities on Facebook and within the services of Facebook's cooperating partners more effectively.
2. Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for processing users' personal data is Art 6 Abs 1 f DSGVO.
3. Purpose of data processing
With the Facebook Pixel, the behavior of page visitors can be tracked after they have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows for the evaluation of the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes, as well as for conversion measurement, and future advertising measures can be optimized.
For Facebook, it is possible to determine the visitors of our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements with the help of the Facebook Pixel. Therefore, we use the Facebook Pixel, among other things, to display ads we place to users on Facebook and within the services of Facebook's cooperating partners (so-called “Audience Network” https://www.facebook.com/audiencenetwork/) who have also shown interest in our online offering or exhibit certain characteristics (e.g., interest in specific topics or products that can be inferred from the visited websites) that we transmit to Facebook.
4. Duration of storage
The collected data is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, allowing a connection to the respective user profile, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes according to Facebook's data usage policy. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook's pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data and the duration of storage cannot be influenced by us as the site operator. Further information on privacy protection can be found in Facebook's privacy notices: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Facebook is Privacy Shield certified.
5. Right to object and removal options
If you do not wish for data collection via the “Facebook Pixel” or Custom Audience, you can deactivate this via the link https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. You need to be logged into Facebook for this. (3) we no longer need your data for the purposes of processing, but you need it for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or
(4) if you have objected to the processing and it is not yet clear whether our legitimate grounds outweigh your grounds.
If the processing of your data is restricted, these data may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, aside from their storage. If the restriction of processing has been lifted according to the above conditions, you will be informed by us before the restriction is lifted.

5. Right to Notification
If you have asserted your right to rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing against us, we are obliged to inform all recipients to whom your data has been disclosed of this rectification or deletion of data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.
6. Right to Object
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data that is carried out based on Art 6 para 1 e or f GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
In this case, we will no longer process your data unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If your data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data for such advertising purposes; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct advertising.
If you object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing, your data will no longer be processed for these purposes.
7. Right to Withdraw the Data Protection Consent
You have the right to withdraw your data protection consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint under § 24ff DSG 2018 with the data protection authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR and the DSG 2018.
